Just look at this wedding of
these grade school sweetheartsIsn't it the cutest?
I keep coming across details and images from other people's weddings that make me wish we could have a small outdoor wedding instead. A guest list of 75, an intimate garden party in the evening, orange paper lanterns hanging from trees, Moroccan lanterns with flickering candles, a huge glass jar full of lemonade, a clothespin line of messages and polaroids for a guest book, pretty succulents in apothecary jars, daisies in an antique blue glass jars...
But ours will be very different. More formal, more elegant, indoors - still we're trying to incorporate some details that make it less stuffy, less ordinary. And I got my Moroccan lanterns so I'm happy.
