Work is SoBoring.

Life after a wedding and honeymoon is calm. We are happily settling in to married life and keeping busy by visiting family and trying to get organized.

The getting organized part is taking some time. Sorry for the lack of updates and photos. We are still sorting through our gazillion Hawaii pictures, engagement pictures, and waiting for our wedding pictures. Promise, soon!

I still can't believe we're married married. I can't believe we pulled off a nice, fun wedding. I can't believe my sister and cousin baked 600 scones.

The whole wedding process was really fun and I am glad we planned it ourselves. It was nerve-wracking and stressful, but in the end we got the wedding we wanted. I was so flattered when people complimented us on the details we put so much thought into, like the cranes, programs, favors. Everyone says those things don't matter, that no one notices, but they do - those little personal touches are what make the occasion special and memorable, imho.

I had the most amazing morning, even though I overslept by an hour. I calmly took a shower and drove myself and my dress to the Rockleigh. Along the way, I saw two squirrels, two birds, and two deer, like they'd all woken up early to wish me well, and the fog rolling over the river under the sunrise. What a way to start the wedding day. The rest of the day went by so fast, but it was exactly right. I remember that Matt was happy and I was happy. We smiled a lot and it didn't even hurt our faces.

Thanks to Jung Eun, Mrs. Suss, and my Mom for being the dream team of wedding planning and to everyone else for supporting us along the way. More updates soon!
